I just heard from a friend at MS that the release date has been pushed to Aug 30 now, Typical:rolleyes: Just figured i would share that with ya.
That's just in a few days, don't worry it'll be here soon enough :D
Getting anxious about SP-1? LOL...you probably have most if it anyway. It just means I'll have to make another drive image.

Media player is alot better, and there is new tab in the add a remove programs for setting default programs, and removing all microsoft software. New messenger, And few more, DirectX 9 and a new version of VM for java. It seemed pretty nice and smooth when i use it, hopefully the final will be even better.:D
I thought DirectX 9 was delayed until November.

Not sure, but from what i heard, that was the reason for the aug 30th date, for a full release including windows media pro the new version of their music format.

Yeah, but you wouldn't actually count on MS updates to NOT be piecemeal, right?
from what Im able to piece together from newsgroups and websites looks like around mid-september....I hope thats all wrong. I'd like to get this show on the road and see what works what doesn't and so on.
