Counterstrike and GF3ti500 question

First time I am playing CS.


I have Nvidia latest drivers, with gf3ti500, should I choose Opengl? or Direct?

Any idea why I cannot get more than 99 fps no matter what I do?

99 fps is the max in half-life games,most people run in open gl

Agh ok good to know, I can still get 99fps at 1600x1200, that is pretty cool, only game I can really play at that resoultion and still enjoy it.

Counter-strike is a great game, I love the awp. I am such an awp *****, I love it. Use it like an mp5. Ah love it love it love it.

What is an AWP?

Biggest problem I am running into is I cannot figure out who is my teammate and who is the enemy, everyone looks so like eachother, by the time I figure out it is the enemy and I am dead.

Plus everyone is able to get one-shot kill on me, while I barely able to do that

watch out for all the hackers

there is a console command that will center the players name on the screen, lot easier to tell if they are good or bad guy.

i think it is hud center_id"1"

AWP is the CT sniper rifle

Awp is the big Green sniper rifle, Hit b then 4 then 6. It kills in one shot, and both teams can buy it.

no wonder why i was getting one shot killed, going to try that on them
