need help.2comps thru hub to internet?

recently i got adsl that gave me 2 dynamic ips so i wanted to take advantage of that instead of i connectingthru my brother's computer for internet. does someone have a guide? i need instructions

With 1x IP, a router. With 2x IP's, your case, DSL modem to hub/switch, each computer into hub/switch. Most likely you need PPPoE software on each computer to authenticate/log on.

i think i have a hub. its very simple though. 5x slots. no buttoms no switches.has connection lights. collision light. its from dlink and its very small. i dont know what model it is:( ok i very doubt i have a hub but rather.. a router :( it kinda looks like this http://www.futureshop.ca/multimedia/products/regular/10011966.gif but not quite
