hola... I have Linux SuSE 7.2 Pro. After installin the OS the whole thing seemed to run slow. Using Mandrake 7 in the past I had noticed that on booting, the list of what the boot up was doing showed that DMA support was turned off (said in the bios) and I know that it wasn't through the bios because DMA is set ON. My spec is good and I think SuSE should run fine.
spec: Athlon Thunderbird 1.4Ghz
256 DDR (unbranded)
Seagate 5400 RPM EIDE 40GB HD
GeForce 2 Ti (64 DDR)
