View Full Version : Other network to connect
I've just install wireless network using linky and also wireless card
Once time in hotel when I open my laptop I can see other network
How can I connect to this network ?
tnx
You probably shouldn't!!!
It's another network that you would be trying to hack into.
If it's badly configured - it would be easy to get into, however I am not going to tell you how to do this as it would be unethical!!

so what's different from wired network and wireless network ?
In this hotel I can use the network with my CAT5 because this hotel have internet service in room , but I can't with my wireless

Wireless you're probably just picking up other "road warriors" running their laptops...broadcasting with their wireless NIC's still turned on. Since you're not setup to use their laptops as a gateway with ICS, you can't access them.
And you really should stay out of network neighborhood when in strange places like that, it's not your business to be poking around in others laptops.
according to smc product guide , this not road warriors , only out of range , because the hotel placement the wap on 1'st floor and I'm in 3'rd floor
when I try , while chek out , I can connected with wep disable , maybe this is same with internet free service in airport
hi YeOldeStonecat , I'm here ................
