View Full Version : SG Forums acting strangely - am I the only one?

Lately I've had to click more than once to make a forum screen appear, you know, just in normal forum navigation, looking at threads, replying, etc., the screen seems to just "hang."

Is this occurring with anyone else?

It seemed to start right after Philip worked on the server earlier this week.

Same here, lots of lag (sometimes, not every page}

Happens on and off.

Thanks for pointing that out, Norm, and I agree, it's not consistent.

It wasn't only SG acting this way either, other sites were lagging as well.
Led me to believe a router in between was having a problem, but I never investigated any further.

i get the page could not be displayed sometimes or a 404 error ... and it does lag too .. yes

internet has been strange lately, many pauses! Thought it was just my Cumguat.net service.

SG on the other hand has always acted strange...but that's good, right?

I've been cursing Adelphia.

The forums do seem to require reload attempts occasionaly.

Thought it was just me. :confused:

Still working on the server, recompiled with a newer version of PHP, trying to troubleshoot the problem, .

Does it happen only on the forums, or with the main site as well ?

Are you still experiencing it ?

Philip, it is still occuring with the Forums, it happened several times today.

I haven't checked the main site but will nose around in there and see if it does it.

Seems to be just on the forums, the main site loads up real fast. The forums are fast except a couple times I get the windows internal message saying that the page isn't available, or something along those lines.

i'm starting to notice the dealy now too.
