Dreamweaver's the best. I wouldn't say it's "easy" tho. But then if you want a "cool" site, it's gonna require some work.

coolpage is one of the easiest to use.
I tried it a year or so ago, and it was pretty good then.
A year of improvements has got to have made it even better.
Tony writes the help pages among other things, be sure to read them.

I would say Dreamweaver. May I suggest the Macromedia Studio MX package? It has Dreamweaver, Fireworks (graphics), Flash (shows), and ColdFusion (no idea what this does). You'll have all the tools you'll ever need and then some to make any website. I just got Studio and it ROCKS!!! :)

wait...
tonyt wrote that program?
As far as I know Tony wrote coolpagehelp.com, using coolpage, and helps with other parts of the coolpage software.
He didn't write the coolpage program itself.
Tony can give you the details about his part in coolpage.

He can download the Try before buy version. The version avaliable on the Macromedia website is Dreamweaver 4 MX, which i find that it's harder to use than the Dreamweaver 4, it's more stuff and makes it look messy. :p
So if you need, PM me and i'll send u the Dreamweaver 4 Trial or if u want to try the MX, just go download from the Macromedia website :)
Cool Page was coded by Shelby Moore III (http://www.coolpagehelp.com/developer.html) . He's the guy who also coded Painter, which then became part of MetaCreations, which then bacame Corel Painter. He also coded the very first word processor with a GUI called WordUp.
I contributed to Cool Page in the form of ideas for features, marketing strategies, email support, and the support website is all done by me, www.coolpagehelp.com.
Cool Page can do a lot that Dreamweaver cannot do, for about 225 bucks less. Dreamweaver is a good app too, but it has it's hooks and caveats. For instance, many DHTML features must be purchased separately as a "web service".
Dreamweaver's approach is an "all in one" program", whereas Cool page has a specific target market and niche. It's the only true 100% WYSIWYG editor that uses CSS text and exact pixel positioning of objects on the page, all without having to know or type a line of code. Drag an object to a position on the page and that's where it will appear on the webpage.
Version 3.0 of CP is due in a month or so and will include a revolutionary approach to webpage design and layout. You will then see this feature in Dreamweaver and other editors. Plus, anew freeware version will be released that runs forever, njo ads, popups or spyware.
