High speed wireless net worth it?

My area just got fixxed radio waved wirless internet 32 bucks for 1meg up and 1.5megs down draw back bout a hunderd to set it up

Im on cable right now charterpipe line 128/1.5meg 65bucks a month theys days only geting 80-100 uploads and like 1400 down loads

just wanted to get some feed back on fixxed radio waved internet

thinken bout maken the switch if the speeds are tru or even close

The comabany is speedNet they says its faster then most dsl and cable isp :rolleyes:

I had wireless quite some time ago. Over a year.

The advertized speeds are going to be your optimal, just like cable. The real problem for me was a less than great signal sometimes. I'm not sure if this has been fixed with boosters or amplifiers specificly for wireless internet. And I was not in the best location for top signal strength anyhow.

Thre was some lag at times, but not real bad. The up/down that they advertise sounds nice. Especially the up!
