Hi there,

I already have a linux box set up with DirectTV DSL. Now I want to connect two PCs to the same DSL service through a DSL router.

Questions:
1. Can I connect 1 linux box and 2 PCs to a same DSL router?
2. Any tips on where to get a cheap DSL router (am ready to buy a used one; but wont buy a used one online)?

Thanks.

yeah, you can share with DTV DSL.

TCP/IP is a language with a no home OS, you can link it to anything if the router firmware will allow it.

How do you want to go, ethernet or wireless?

I am going through ethernet.

Just bought a Linksys PCI ethernet card for my PCs. Already had a DSL connection hooked up to the linux box and therefore want to get a DSL router to share the same DSL service for all the 3 machines.

I know a D-Link 713P, Linksys BEFRS41, BEFSR41W, and a Netgear RT-311 are known to work with DTV DSL.
