AT&T cable modem?

I am going to sign up for AT&T broadband service. Shoud I use their modem or buy my own? Price aside, what benefit will I get from purchasing my own modem, speed, performance?

Welcome to Speedguide:), you won't have any benefit as far as speed goes but you wallet will thank you;). It's cheaper to buy your own than rent one, once you get it post back and we will help you get things optimized.:)
