Set Program Access and Defaults?

Umm? .. .. WTF? I just downloaded service pack 3 for Win2k and now I have "Set Program Access and Defaults" in my start menu.
Mabey I missed a post on this but does anyone know what this is?

Yeah, i got it too. I dunno what it's for either. I just leave it untill someone comes up and mentions what it's for. ;)

ya I got it too. Just got rid of the shortcut and moved on :)

It's in your Add/Remove Programs now too

It is worth looking at if you don't like all the default programs that MS installs. e.g. Media Play versus WinAmp

It lets you pick a non MS browser, media player, mail program, etc, and hide or remove the Microsoft equivalent.
