Norton Antiviurs 2003... can't uninstall

I can't uninstall norton antivirus 2003 nor either install a new one. It give me a window saying "fatal error : installation ended prematurely because of an error" anybody know why or other way to uninstall it?.. I have try add/remove and still doesn't work.

RNAV utility is great.....but sometimes cleaning by hand (all directories, and registry entries) is needed. Symantec's website has great support for that, just takes a few minutes to find.

As for leaked versions, or beta's.....anti-virus software really reaches deep into your operating system, as much as I love Symantec for the AV products, I'd suggest staying away from any beta/leaked anti-virus product.

ESPECIALLY leaked ones. This is not in reference to you, Azn, but I'm reminded of the wry irony of people actually downloading warez versions of anti-virus products. This is a bad analogy, but that's kinda like using a gas pump nozzle to put out a fire. :)

I just installed 2003 it's working ok I think 2002 is gone

Finally got rid of the beta version, and install back the 2002 pro. The best thing to uninstall NAV is search the symatic help and uninstall it manually (it might be not the best for everyone, but in this case it is for me :) )

A lesson to be learn and has learned. Stay away from leaked/beta softwarez :)
