weird memory problem

when i have a lot of programes running um using a little ram.
in this pic i have outlook, adove photoshop 6, image ready 3, word, excel, DAP. IE,anti virus, and im folding(i paused it)

when i have 1 or 2 running im using about half or more.

now i know this is probley cause of virtual ram. but how do i stop windows from doing that and using more of my real ram than the hdd?
