HEELLOO!! :p

Ok <flameshield> I'm using Windows 98 here, since I only play games in Windows </flameshield>

I've got a Radeon 64M DDR and is using the latest Catalyst drivers.

I cannot seem to change the refresh and I'm stuck with 60hz which is messing up my eyes.

Is it a graphics driver thing or a monitor driver thing.

The monitor setup tab in the Display Options doesn't have a refresh rate dropdown list....anymore.

Maybe any 3rd party utils that might do the trick.

just an idea but make sure you have your monitor drivers installed, i had a similar problem with windows XP.

Like The snake said you may have to download the INF file for your monitor. You can use device manager to install it. I had to do it for my monitor. Now when I change resolutions all the refresh rates supported by my monitor are listed.

But what if I'm totally broke and have a piece of crap of a screen that doesn't have the luxuries of INF files :(

I even tried the site of the supplier, they don't even have the price for the screen (although there is a price column in the table)

Is there any other way........?

I've tried some of the default monitor options that Windows supplies but still no Refresh Rate drop-down list box

Depending on your Monitor it might require a particular driver, my Env!sion didn't need the setup.inf file but other monitors do..
Finding Drivers can be a chore... however, I stand confident that anyone can find Hardware Drivers at This Site (http://www.drivershq.com/main.asp).

Tweak your Radeon

I use to have a Radeon but since it installs too many drivers, I decided why have that much for one card. But I tried the Tweaker. It works.
