Just switched over to 3.11 console version folding.

I didn't have an uninstall for version 2, so I now have both versions. Will this cause problems having both installed? If I don't need version 2; how do I get rid of the extra info I have?

Thanks

Did you use just the console version of version 2 and not the graphical client?
If so, all you need to do is remove the folder your v2 was installed under(assuming v3 is not there as well). If it was the graphical client, I can't see any problems but then again I never use it. I 'believe' that the graphical version has a install program with it and should have an un-installer BUT if everything is working fine now there is no point in removing it since it will quite possible remove shared files for v3 if there are any with that version.

Yah version 2 was the console version also. So far the new version seems okay. Not sure why but the 1st WU downloaded didn't restart after it had been shut down, it just downloaded another WU and started over. I think I'll keep version 2 just incase I have any problems with version 3 then.

Thanks for your time:)

I'm running the console version of 3.11 on my machines and have had no major problems since I dl them. I don't worry about running them as a service since a cluttered task bar doesn't bother me. BTW, congrats to you Suzie for reaching 160 points, I have read some of your posts about how long a protien takes for you and reaching 160+ points shows a lot of determination!!

Thanks emobley3:)

It's a slow go, I wish I could do more....it's for a great cause.

I see an upgrade in my near future, maybe then I can keep up with the rest of you.

Fold on!!:)
