View Full Version : ? for emobly3
You gonna be giving out props for milestones on the F@H team much like on the G@H team? You need a Lieutenant?

Not to trash your thread here, but, we had a Team Captain on G@H (Jughead) who asked EM3 to do that.
I would think that in F@H Btracy or Chris would be considered Cap'n (at least till you or em3 knock btracy off).
EM3 has gone above and beyond in the Team efforts (aside from the fact he is causing rolling blackouts in the delta with that farm he's got going) by once again joining in. Give him a break.
Sounds to me like you might interested in the job, therefore, I throw your hat in the ring, hoping that you remember this as you blow by me, remembering to be kind to the little people that got you there. :D
Personally, I think that everyone should post about milestones. Check to make sure no one posted it already (we don't want so smap up the team forum do we?) and if no one has then post it and give props where props are due. We just need some kind a system for it. What are going to be "milestones" every 100 WU till 1,000 or every 50? We need some sort of rules for it. Otherwise they aren't really milestones are they?:D
Cheerleaders,we need Cheerleaders:)
the 100, 500 and 1K, 1500, 2 K 2500, 3k and so on are good marks.
Except someone will be so busy posting milestones for Emo3 they wont have time for anything else:)
Now if someone is good at script writing maybe we could just have an automaticly generated milestone posting congratulating Emo3 on a daily basis, yah, that would cover it:)
And I concure with agentbeast.
Everyone should get involved in Milestones. nothing like a random pat on the back for a job well done.

I agree with any and all posting milestones when needed. As for Chris, very funny, :D about me giving somebody a full-time job posting my milestones.I enjoy recognition, but what really makes me feel good is seeing team spirit and the realization that we are doing this for the good of humanity. LM, I don't really cause a brownout down in the delta when I start my farm do I? ;), maybe a little surge, but nothing else, and I'm only running 2 more boxen than you are. It's just the window ac and extra fans that use all the power. Yeah, thats it. I was snoopin around the kcgeek website and saw some seriuos ocs on some of their machines, an athlon running at 3000mhz for example. I would love to know how they did that.
Those aren't (very)overclocked machines. The guys we have that make the DC webpage for us(AltaX and blather) set it up so a system with multiple processors is listed as just multiple times the MHz of one with a single proc.
Good to see we are turning some heads. Fold on!
For the first few months in Genome I thought it was an automated process congratulating members on their achievements, until I realised that emobley did it personally. Having your achievement recognised did add a personal touch to it, that has definitely made me a loyal contributor.
