I looked around ar grisoft, couldn't find a thing on that problem.

I remember once it reported mine not up to date. I think I clicked the button that had that message and it fixed it. Try that.

Let me know if it worked.

Any suggestions ??????:( :( Never had the problem here so another question or 2:
Do you d/load the updates through the Service Button in the main AVG program or go through the Update Manager in the Control Panel?
When the d/load has finished do you get a "successfull d/load" popup that asks you to reboot sometimes or another that just say the database has been updated?

Croc.

I used the update manager in the control panel and yes I got the popup asking me to re-boot which I did after which the main program tells me my virus database os out of date.

This happened once before and nothing I did solved it I even sent a mail to grisoft and they came back to me with a couple of things to try which I did but it still didn`t work but shortly after that a new update was released and it sorted itself but now I`m back in the same boat again:( :( :(

Hope someone can shed some light on this as I don`t wanna ditch AVG coz I quite like it and this is only the second time this has happened:(
