F@h ??

i want to run this on my older pc that i only connect to the internet when i need to upload results.

with G@H i could just let it run for a few days and the restart it and it would upload.

now with F@H how do i set it up so i can run no-net or whatever ?

it just sits there and whats to upload and never stops to do a new work unit.

any help folks ?

Nah, the new client doesn't have a nonet option. (how many negatives can I put into one sentence:D ) That was a large point of contention for Genomers using the fah3.x core.

Yeah the original Folding only clients have never had a -nonet option. It would come in handy but we have never seen it. :(

so in other words i need to buy a router so i can hook up both my pc's to upload when i am at work ?

that sucks :(

maybe i will just leave the older one running G@H instead.

pop and extra NIC in your always connected machine grab a crossover cable and set up a free proxie server, AnalogX has one that should work
