SG TCP/IP Optimizer not working?

Like the subject says, I can't get it to work. It won't show my network adapter... Anyone have an idea how to make it work?

Is your modem connected with a NIC or USB?:)

It's USB... SpeedStream 4060...

That's why your adapter isn't there, you don't have one. The settings should still work ok but you really ought to go buy a NIC and connect your modem that way - much better.:) :D

Well, I guess that would explain it, then.... The 4060 only has the usb out... I guess I'd have to get another modem to use a nic...

I've applied the win2k registry tweak (the readymade file) and am experiencing major download slowdowns and alot of crc errors on files over about 10 megs or so.... Any ideas on how to fix that problem?

I would assume the errors are coming from the USB connection, what are your ISPs caps?:)
