Tweak 28.8

Hey is there anyway i can tweak a 28.8 to connect fast or at least get my comp to run it better. im stuck on it and cant get cable back.

Download SG Optimizer to desktop, directions in help thread below in signature. If you have another Speed Program or patch installed you need to uninstall it prior to downloading Optimizer, thanks.:)

Is there a reason why you don't have atleast 56K? Try the link in my sig "56K Tweaks" and see if they help.:)

"Speed Patches" don't always need to be uninstalled Lobo...


And whatever you do, DO NOT use a HUGE RWIN. It is VERY BAD on a 28.8 modem.

Get rid of that modem and get yourself a 56K model. They're quite cheap, and the speed gain will be quite noticable, I'm sure.

How in the world did you get a computer with a 1 GHz Duron processor and with only a 28.8 modem?

also goto start menu,search for files and folders,type *.tmp you'll see abunch of files on the right, click edit, select all and delete it will help your connection and also performance of the computer.

well i built the system myself didnt think id need a modem lost my job and mom wont let me pay for my cable anymore cuz i dont have a job
