Hello all, My son and I need some help. How do I get 2 computers to share files and game with one another? Both puters work on the web just great, but we can't see each other. He is the computer guy of the house, 10 years old but we can't seem to figure this one out.

both systems running Windows 2000 Pro.

Have both computers in the same workgroup...then you'll see them in the network places.

Sharing games...such as what games? Should be able to see the game server when looking for games on the local area network.

For sharing files, be sure to set up an account for each user/password on BOTH machines.
