If you own a Linksys WAP11, SMC MC2655W or Netgear ME102, you can increase it's power output to 100mw. Roughly three times higher than the factory output. This will help your speed when you're at the distance limits of the hardware.

It's best to stick to channel six, otherwise it will bleed over into the allocated bands of other devices.

When you start modding equipment from factory spec, there is always chance it will harm it.

Linksys' wirless WAP's used to come from the factory set at 300mw now they are set to full power. The same thing that this mod is doing.
