View Full Version : Error 'msconfig'
I downloaded win2k pro and when i go to : start/run and type in the box msconfig i get this error: Cannot find the file 'msconfig' (or one of its components) blah blah blah.
What can i do to get to msconfig? I've got programs i don't want to start when windows start and some of them don't have an option to disable it.
Help ! :(
Win2K doesn't come with msconfig, use startup cpl it's free.

or go into services in Admin Tools and disable any you want.

I just went to microsofts site and found it in their download section somewhere.. don't remember exactly, but any version of it should work. I used it on my pc at work and it worked fine. Just make sure you put it in the correct folder:
C:\winnt\system32
