Hello

What to know how , when booting on a netware partition ,to copy files from the Dos partition to the netware partition ?

I am using in my server :
Bootable partition : Dos6.22
Netware partition : Netware 3.12

Just saw your problem
You are using a very old version of Novell if it is 3.11 as you stated.
They are now up to Version 6 I believe.
If you can give me a day or 2 I will check my old TAFE notes on Novell and post it.
I used Ver 3.11 in my very first network- it was a hand me down - snd my teachers advised me to go to Version 4.
Do not give up yet I will be back soon- I well remeber what I went through

Found the notes
Instructions
1 Go to Novell Support.com
2 In the search box enter Tools for a NetWare Server v1.09d use advanced search please- there is a little pull down box
3 Press enter
4 The result will show up as tools for Netware server V1.09d- it still exits I just checked
5 Down load the file - this is a toolbox that allow for coping DOS to Novell on Server Partitions.
It is a very handy tool - used it at TAFE.

May I also suggest that you red the readme file on the Install disk - I know it is long as Novell is different to other NOCs.In Ver 3 they used Bindery- a flat database -which was server centric- meaning that everytime you logged on to a different server you had to use a different password. A good secure system. They also used utilities such as Syscon, Pconsole and filer. At TAFE we used Client 32
