Hello,
After upgrading from win98se to win2000, I am no longer able to view java-generated links and pages in Internet Explorer 6.0. Example: I don't see the amount shown after 'Bid:' in (Advertiser's Max Bid: ) on Overture's serp pages, http://www.overture.com/d/search/?type=home&tm=1&Keywords=links. I have tried the lowest security settings inlcuding java custom settings: full permission to unsigned conent and that signed content is allowed. For signed content denied, there are no permissions specified but under 'edit permissions', there are no settings for 'signed content denied. Help! Thanks!

You need the latest Java Virtual engine from MS.

Try the knowledge base for 'Java virtual machine' download and install it.

Thanks Norm. I ran the latest service pack 2 before installing Microsoft VM build 3805 for Microsoft Windows 2000 (Hotfix)(at http://www.microsoft.com/java/vm/dl_vm40.htm), reset security to the lowest possible levels and still no go. Any idea what I've done wrong? Thanks!

Have a look through those 2 links and see if you can get this resolved. 1st link looks good for troubleshooting the problem.

IE 6 made some changes with java security options, and disabled a couple things.
Hope this helps.
