Suddenly Slow

I am talking about my client pc on ICS. Both systems running win 98se for over two years now and all of a sudden 2 weeks ago i cant load a web page in under 2 minutes (CABLE)?? I have tried the tweaks including TCP optimizer which opened up the maxMTU to 1500 on both the gateway and my pc .... still nothing what gives any suggestions?

ditch ICS and go w/ AnalogX proxy ;)
