this question is because i know you cant use BB with Xbox. ok, but lets say you buy a router or hub, and hook up your 56k connection up to the router then the router to your pc. then you could connect your xbox to the router...
this would only be possible if a router or hub had rj45 and standard phone connections, or if there were some rj45 connectors you could buy to connect to regular phone cords that work like cord extenders... or even crazier, cut off a phone cord and put a rj45 connector on the end manually, but i seriously doubt thats possible.
i dont know if any of this is possible thats why im asking. its probably not possible, but its not too far fetched.
xbox is only BB only cus there is not 56k modem connection... i know its not IMPOSSIBLE to play with a 56k connection, youd just lag like hell. are there anyways microsoft could tell if you actually using a BB connection? and dont say speed tests... cus there are really sucky ISP's out there (i had one, earthlink dsl) that give out 56k and under speeds sometimes. and they couldnt block a BB user just cus of the speed of their service.
