Both are at the same price, but the netgear has more RAM. Linksys has a dedicated uplink port where as the netgear has a uplink button. Just looking for advice from experiance. The switch will be used for xbox gaming.
Thanks,

The Netgear is substantially faster, better quality.
I use the netgear FS105 to uplink my nexland 800pro turbo's two wan ports to the modem, I think you will find the netgear to be faster .I did have a linksys 5 switch and was getting some packet loss because of the the bottle neck at the modem . The 1mb of ram on each port on the fs105 stop the packet loss.

Thanks, my netgear switch should be here in about 2 weeks. Also, http://www.buy.com has free shipping going on on most of their network items. They carry Dlink, netgear, linksys and SMC. the netgear switch I purchased was only $41.58.
