Wireless mixed PC/Mac help needed

HI,

I have a DSL connection at home, shared via CAT-5 cable through most of the house. We're doing a major remodeling project, which would require running more cable. I'd like to avoid that, so am considering a wireless network. I have 3 PC's (2 laptops and a desktop) and a Mac desktop machine.
I assume it's possible to have a mixed PC/Mac wireless network (as I do now with the cabled system). If that is the case, what would be the best hardware to use? I've been told either the Airport or the D-Link wireless routers are the best for this situation. Do you agree? Also, what would be the best wireless ethernet cards to get for both the PC and Mac?

Don't know about hardware, but if you just want to share an internet connection the OS doesn't matter. The protocol is all that matters - tcp/ip. My decision would probably be based on Mac driver support. You may want to consider getting all the same brand for compatibility reasons.
