Need help setting up my first game server.

Half-Life or Counter Strike.

I'm behind a Netgear RP 114 router, I want to make a dedicated server. I don't know what ports I need to forward, also can I play on my own server if I only have one key?( I want to log onto my server with my game machine)

Any tips and info on how to get this all started would help big time :)

To be honest, I'm lost on how to even get it all started. :o

I tried to do it with Soldier Of Fortune and I can't even get connected to my own server.

Must forward these ports to the LAN IP of your server:
Half Life
IN UDP 6003
IN UDP 7002
IN UDP 27010
IN UDP 27015
IN UDP 27025

IN UDP 27015

Can tell you how to setup Q2, Q3, and Unreal based servers behind routers in my sleep, but haven't done HL engine in a long long time.
