GTA3 Problem

I just bought GTA3 and it runs horribly on my comp. Why is it that most games dont support the kyro II chipset. Is it because Hercules was dumb making it and left out the T&L??? They kept saying their rendering technique of arcitechture or what ever was better than T&L but its not. They cant be more wrong. I'm constantly updating my vid card drivers hoping my video card will work good for once. also could it be my sound card?? Gta3 says that some on-board soundcards dont have the hardware buffer (mine doesnt). does that mean i have to go out and buy a new sound card as well??

dunno bout that chip set but gta3 runs like crap on my pc as well man

skipping crashing erroring out! Out of the 15games i have installed right now gta3 is the only one i get props from so i know if not a vid or pc prop

thers a penit going around for rockstar to fix or recall gta3


gta3s got tons of conflicks with xp geforce cards most older onboard sound cards ect ect


i get unhandled error all the time :o


just gonna have to sit back and wait for a patch i found a few good gta3 forums just do a goggle search


o and bout your soundcard i have soundblasters live and i get sound lock ups lol so...... up to you mabye get a old soundblaster pci16 ther like 20 bucks

try runing in all at low setings for now that seems to help with skipping a bit
