Got this as an attachment, already deleted it from my email, afraid it was a virus, anyone know anything about this?

ZoneAlarm Mailsafe will quarantine mail attachments and changes their extension.

Looks like ZA renamed a .ins file to .zld for you.

So it was a potential virus attack?
By the way, I looked at my email at work, via the web version of my ISP and it had an .exe extension then. After I downloaded it at home it had the .zld extension and I do have ZA at home.

Oops, actually I think it was .ZL9, which would go with the .exe.
I would guess that it was an attack. Good thing ZA renamed it, and good thing you didn't click on it at work too.
Give ZA a clap for me :)
