Classic CS is alive!

CS-Nation has the scoop on a Half-Life mod which I know a lot of your CS fans will be interested in. CS-Classic is a mod for Half-Life which is based on early Counter-Strike beta's (namely 5, 6 and 7), includes some old maps and skins and doesn't contain any controversial "gameplay fixes" like the bunny-hopping in CS 1.4. As this is a mod for Half-Life itself, and not a Counter-Strike patch, your current CS installation is safe as it installs to a separate directory.

I remember back in the days... ohh that was the best time for cs... players were few... and they play for fun.. not many cheats around too...

now it's too competitive and people cheat too much... oh yeah.. they changed too much of hte game...

well, I don't think u'd install beta into the same dir as u installed CS did u? ... or maybe I think u gotta uninstall CS before installing the beta version of it. Anyhoo if ur CS is screwed now, I think u gotta reinstall it :)
