Are these results good? what other rwins can i use?
TCP options string = 020405b40103030301010402

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which equals MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 513920
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 3 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 64240
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 20556.8 kbps (2569.6 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 8222.72 kbps (1027.84 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 57 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

They have a cap all ISPs have a cap, you may need to call them. What do you usually get from a speed test.:)

here is the speed test from dslreports.com
2002-06-23 01:34:30 EST: 658 / 248
Your download speed : 658357 bps, or 658 kbps.
A 80.3 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 248833 bps, or 248 kbps.

Vishal:

Run a speed test from here (http://chi.speakeasy.net/) after you first clear your browser cache. Cut-and-paste or type in your upstream/downstream speeds here.

Your RWIN value looks pretty high. Try reducing it to 256960 or 128480, reboot, then run another speed test.
