Internet Explorer 6.0 Dialup

Have a machine with Win98SE and IE 6.0. The problem is that IE will not save my dial up connection so when I click on my Internet Explorer icon it doesn't automatically dial out. I can dial up manually thru dial up networking then go into IE. If I go into IE/tools/internet options/connections " never dial a connection is allows selected even though I had previously high lighted my dial up icon then selected " always dial my default connection" then selected " set default " then apply. I'v applied DUN 1.4 and created a new dialup connection but IE still doesn't save the setting.

That DUN 1.4 Update can be a problem. :( I would consider removing it and also, do you have the Client for Microsoft networks installed in your Network protocols?? that will save the Password. :)

I reinstalled IE 6.0 and it nows saves the dial up connection:) thanks
