I have been trying to change my Logo.sys But I have messed up I think. I was reading how to get rid of it here... http://forums.speedguide.net/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=65565&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending If that link dont work I serched speedguide for Logo.sys.
I can not find my Logo.sys at all. When I boot there is the win98 screen with the clouds. I did find my Logow.sys and Logos.sys. Thet are the shutdown and It is saft to turn your computer off screens.
I just wanted to change it NOT get rid of any screen. Which is what I done. I used the program here X Teak http://www.xteq.com/products/xset/index.html
And the only thing I done was change the boot picture. I thought..
I also looked in the msdos.sys file and there was not anything for Logo=0 or 1 so I put in Logo=1.
Hope I got across what I have done. Now when I boot up I slows down at found boot record from IDE..0 And stays there as long as it would have been for the win98 screen to show. Then goes to the desktop. Thanks in advance Sorry I forgot I am using 98SE

Another Program and some pics to use.

Logo.sys goes in the root of c:

Make sure that logo=1 is under the heading [Options] in msdos.sys

Keep the logo.sys (bitmap file) to these specs
320 pixels wide by 400 pixels tall in 96 dots per inch (resolution) at 256 colors
