I plan on learning both HTML and JAVA...can someone recommend me some good books to do so?

Java for Dummies, and HTML for Dummies :D

Actually, both are good starter books :)

If you searched google you could find a lot of free info though.

how I learnt is by reading websites adn what not.. but now adays.. get dreamweaver or front page.. learn it well and u don't need to know 1 single line of code

Don't laugh. Those are good books to get the beginner started. Flip through them and i'm sure you'll see some good tips in there. After you master them you can move up to more advanced stuff.

But if you start with your expectations too high you'll be lost and discouraged.

Ok here goes, type www.google.com and for your search type "html lessons" (without the quotes) thats how i tought myself and i could almost redesign blizzards website :p. Ok slight exaguration, that might take another year or two, but generally speaking it helps. if you have any questions, email me.. i dunno if the email link is down there of not cuase as u can see, this is my first post.. anyway michealwinger@hotmail.com
