I want to put another dsl modem into another room and I am using Bellsouth DSL, should I buy another Alcatel usb modem, or is there a better choice? Sorry if this question has been asking a billion times.

I'm afraid I have some bad news for you. You can only use 1 DSL modem per line.

You can buy a router to share your connection with another computer..

Well that sucks, I guess I have to do a mini network then. I wanted to go wireless, but its kinda mediocre with the technology sorta of recent. The problem is that the rooms are on different levels. I would hate to run network lines through the roof. What would be the easiest way. I've researched wireless alot, but I havent found anything that sticks out too much and makes me happy.

if your ISP dose not mind you can just go with a network HUB it cost less, but if you are going to shell out the $$$$ get some network cards and a modem that is run via them, its faster!
