I am only getting about 80 percent of my advertised bellsouth adsl speeds. I am getting 1200/200 out of an advertised 1500/256. I would like to make it up to 90%+. Would it be my rp114 netgear router limit it?

TCP options string = 020405ac0103030001010402

MTU = 1492
MTU is optimized for PPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising MTU to 1500 for optimal throughput.

MSS = 1452
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1452, which equals MSS.
MSS is optimized for PPPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising MTU to 1500 for maximum throughput.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 63888
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 63888
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
511104 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
255552 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
127776 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 2555.52 kbps (319.44 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1022.208 kbps (127.776 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 51 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

ive also tried using 65535, but i get the same results, most others hurt my speeds by a good bit.

Appreciate any help you guys can offer

Your getting pretty much the max for a PPPoE 1500/256 connection. Your download will depend on distance to Co. or RT. You could try a lower RWIN to see if you get a little more. Do your speed test from here, http://www.speakeasy.net/main.php?page=sup_pops
Pick a City closest to you, on next page click "Local User Throughput Testing Page" link.

What Rwin are you using Musclemanfu2?

I use a RWIN of 32767 and get 1300/324, but I'm very close to my phone Co. You should try different RWIN's till you find 1 that gives you the best speed you can get from your connection. Start at 32120 and see if you get improvement in speed.
