Got a problem with broadband, blueyonder. i am running XP pro and the net is comming in on a network card (netgear 311) all configured ok the modem is motorola 4200. the net speed keeps slowing to a crawl. to redeam this I have to release the renew my ip address. this works for a while then the net slows. I am running a home network through another network card (3Com). i have had two tech blokes out and they dont know what the problem is. all they have said is that it is xp and i should go back to another operating system (why should I) any answers would be most grateful. once a new ipaddress is present the net is fine for a while then it slows to a crawl
