false advertising???

Wonder what the legal implications are that Bell is still advertising Unlimited usage on their site, even though current users have already been notified of the caps.

Modem Rental $10.00
Total Monthly Charge $44.95

And Bell has more bandwidth eating POP ups on their site then anyother site except porn sites.

there is not a lot of place that they have put the new speed packs up for sale yet, if any so there is no caps yet for most if not all people using Symopatico High Speed. I think thats why its still up.

but truthful advertising would state that as of such and such date caps will be put in place and it will no longer be unlimited access.

We got the shaft...big time :o :mad:
My caps are in effect on July 4th..... all spams, external port scans or ads are included in the cap of 5Gb ($8 per G after the maximum of 5Gb).
I also have cable internet and they are going into the cap routine by the end of summer.
So the adage of "damm if I do, and damm if I don't" is now applicable.
Fight I will, if fight I must..... leaving Sympatico is giving in and I have no intention of "giving in"
I have no objection to "caps", but 5Gb is not enough.
Just my 2 cents and I intend to make it grow, with interest.
