how do you get a picture in your post?

add: [ img ] http://www.somewhere.com/url of your image.jpg [ /img ] (without the spaces), or simply use the IMG button when posting... Keep in mind that images have to be upoaded to some free hosting service, or the webspace provided by your ISP, and you have to know the exact URL.
