Browser/OS = Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Q312461

TCP options string = 020405b40103030301010402

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which equals MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 513920
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 3 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 64240
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 20556.8 kbps (2569.6 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 8222.72 kbps (1027.84 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 55 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

Do you use a router? If so, that explains the MTU value of 1500.

Your RWIN is way too high. Set it to 29200. If you don't know how to edit your registry, download Cablenut Adjuster or the SG Optimizer from my sig.

Note: Set Tcp1323Opts to 0 when changing it below 65535.

The RWIN value may sound small, but I have the same exact package as you with Verizon.. and I get 726/135

change my rwin to 29200, unchecked windows scaling, tested the
speed 4 times with speakeasy and the highest number i got was
716/121, how can i get the number u getting.
i'm using a linksys router, upgraded the firmware yesterday.

At 716/121 you're around 93% of your capped speed which is pretty good. I don't think you're going to get much more out of your connection.

is there anyway i can get the same speed as evilajax, because he is using the same type of setup, or is it the time i'm testing
my speed.

Could be any number of reasons that your speed is different. No two connections are the same. As a rule of thumb if you're getting 85-90% of your capped speed with your system tweaked then you're just about at your max.

I do live kind of close to my CO.

I think it might be your router causing the slower speeds... you're still doing good though for your speed package.

ialso testing my speed without the sg optimizer and i'm getting about the same speed, so i think the program is not helping me
much, i think i am max out.
so should i keep my current settings or should i put it back to 513920, because i could download programs like 4 or 5 seconds faster because it starts at around 500 to 600k, instead of around
150k right now.

Whichever value gives you fastest results.
