Here's what's going on...everything was working fine about 2 weeks ago...the two comps were connected and running smoothly. I wanted to test the connection speeds with and without the router...so what advice I got was, after I've tested just through the DSL modem...I was to open a cmd window and type "ipconfig /release" and then connect all the cables to the router which I did properly and then type "ipconfig /renew"...this worked a few times and then just didn't....so I entered the routers maintencance screen through ie6 typing 192.168.0.1...and then I proceeded to upgrade the firmware to version 326..then nothing worked...the router would not pick up a WAN ip address from my isp....I put all the proper information into the dns and ip sections...and had the router search for the mac address of the comp....since nothing worked at all...I decided to flash the firmware back to version 325....NOW the router has all the lights lit up and they do not go off even if after I turned off the power to the router for 5 minutes....if anyone has an idea I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
