Ok here it is :
Evryone's talkin about fairness about the number of machines crunchin. About privately own machines or they belong to an institution or from a job site.
I went to the library a few days ago where i volunteer at and there's at least 25 machines. I spoke to the librarian who is a great friend of mine and i explained the whole shpiel: G@H,F@H & SETI. I asked if it would be ok if i added those machines to the cause. I also showed him the Speedguide website and all the info.
After he read all the info he said that it was a great cause and that he was very interested but that he needed to ask his superiors to get the final answer ( my guess is they're goin for it).
Now the question here is:
1) If i do get the machines up and put them under my name for F@H is it fair? I mean they're not privately own by me if not i'll create a name for the library and have them crunch for Speedguide's F@H team or
2) just forget the whole thing?
It's all in good competition and fun and our crunchin is definately goin to a great cause, but i still need some pro's and cons about this.
Any input, whether positive or negative would be greatly appreciated !
