I've got a PC file with a ".TXT" extention. It is a Comma Separated File of Names and Addresses. Whats the easiest way to print mailing labels from this data? I have MS WORD and Access and EXCEL.

Sample data:

"John", "Q.", "Public", "1313 Mockingbird Ln", "", "Anytown", "AZ", "12345-5432"

"Mary", "", "Jones", "57-24 Maple St","","Smallville","MN","98765-1234"

TIA
Phil

even though you are wanting to pull from an existing comma delimted file, you might also consider creating a *.wab file in Outlook Express by importing the contents of that text file you have into a new Outlook Express address book.

then, turn right around use that address book to print out labels in Word 2000. my fiance just did the very exact thing that i am talking about today, to print out the hundred or so wedding invitations we are sending out.

if you need the exact instructions on how to do this, post back here or email me at 'tom@thewhalens.ws' (if that is allowed by forum rules) and i'll put the instructions up. good luck :)
