Smtp Proxy help anyone?

I have analogX proxy setup to serve out my cable connection to the computers on my LAN. Internet proxy no problems there. POP works fine (retrieving mail) but I can no longer send mail with the proxy. My settings are correct and it used to work.

I just don't have any luck with this whole proxy business. Does anyone know another way that I can proxy my mail to the server? Or is anyone familiar with analogX email proxying and make a suggestion on how I can find out what's wrong?

havn't used AnologX's proxy but on the proxy i used before getting the router i had to set my mail settings to my proxy servers IP, then the proxy held the ISP's server's address.

so in outlook my POP3 was 10.0.0.1, my proxy server on my lan
SMTP was 10.0.0.1 the same

then in the proxy server settings i had to put in
POP3 mymail.myISP.com
SMTP mymail.myISP.com

Like i said, never used AnX's, hope this helps
