i just got a email from gateway saiyng that "Please be advised that we only
recommend a 200 watt power supply and cannot be responsible for any damage caused by a 300 watt power supply"

is this tru will a 350W power supply damage my pc?

and this In order for a power supply
to fit inside your case, it must be able to fit into that Axxion ATX
style case.

i thought i need a ATX baby T size power supply ?

heres a pic of my power supply what size is it?

putting a larger PSU will not hurt anything.

ur system will only use so much of that power

It won't hurt but it may not fit.

reasons they tell you not to install a 300w+ PSU is because they fear that you don't know anything about computers. But those people at gateway are not the ones to be telling you that! Can't believe they told you it'd fry you comp! Just like how if you think real hard, the computer will go faster and respond to your thoughts! hahah

make sure in advance you know what kind of motherboard you have (Atx or baby Atx), it makes a difference. Powersupplies should only come in one size, but they all fit differently into cases.

Unfortunately, they don't.
My grandson's Gateway and my wife's HP both have very small PSs and no room for anything larger.
