I would think so, but I guess that's another one for the legal system to decide.

Newsbytes has confirmed that installing RadLight version 3.03 deletes Lavasoft's Ad-Aware program, as promised in a warning in the software's 1,100-word license agreement

Not illegal. Certainly unethical. The backlash will force them to change at least - hopefully turn everyone off to the point of ritual format and reinstall ;)

It may be in the EULA, but that doesn't make it legal. I think this will be interesting to track.

Hey, thanks for posting Steven, this is getting interesting.

The spyware fights back lol

Adaware is a must have program these days. It won't be long before we have to pay for it, mark my words. If it stays free, it will become spyware infested too. I'll bet Lavasoft updates adaware to run in back and stop these spyware apps before they get a chance to install and delete it.

It's going to be fun watching the battle. :)

With the newest reference update, it cannot remove it anymore.
