I have the static IP package with Ameritech's DSL. It also gives 5 static IP addresses over a PPPoE connection. I'd like to implement a many-to-many NAT or Multi-NAT or Mult-DMZ (I've seen it called various things on web searches).

Basically, I want to setup a computer with 2 NIC's as a router, and have 3 computers on the private network, each with their own public IP address and all the ports forwarded to it.

I have already tried unsuccessfully with Winroute and Win2k Server's Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS). Currently I'm using RasPPPoE so I can create a dial up entry in either Winroute or RRAS.

Are there other windows programs that can do a many-to-many NAT? I'm guessing that linux can probably do what I want, but I haven't really been able to find a guide on the internet. I also have very little experience with linux. If anyone knows a good way to implement this (without buying a router), please tell me. If you are completely sure that linux can do this, AND you can either explain it step by step or point me to a good guide that shows exactly how to do it, please tell me too. (Please keep in mind that I need to implement a many-to-many NAT, so don't just point me to a site that sets up a PPPoE connection with only one IP.)

Also, if anyone has done this already with Winroute or RRAS, then I'd be happy to share my settings too if you can help out, but for now I'll just save myself some extra typing. :p

Thanks,
Chris
